#230 Don’t look only at what’s Next...what’s Necessary?

It’s been one of those days...one of those days I ask “For what?!” Some daze seem unclear...fuzzy in fact. Then I come across Francis of Assisi’s quote, “Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you’re doing the impossible.” But first I gotta get past next. 👉👉Thanks for catching the show. #229 Have a comedians mindset

I can imagine it’s gotta be tough for an actor...to finally get the gig, hire the crew-lighting, locations, etc...to laboriously shoot the scenes over and over again...to get it all edited & produced...only to have the film get the ax. No big screen, only a dusty shelf. All that work & the actors out of a job. But a comedian can get the ax too, but at least they have a new gig 2 blocks away. 👉👉Thanks for checking out today’s show. #228 Remember Tomorrow

Jesse Itzler is the kind of guy that does what he sees. He’s been a rapper, wrote songs for the NBA, co-founded Marquis Jets w no planes or experience, climbed mountains (also w no experience), & ran 100 mile races. Basically he lives life fully, but things do get tough...he does want to quit and when he feels like giving up, “Remember Tomorrow” keeps him going. 👉👉Thanks for catching today’s show, please share w one person who could use today’s episode. #226 Easier said “than” done

You’ve said it...I’ve said it...we’ve all said the phrase, “Easier said than done,” when we feel like the task looks simple to do, but it’s not. We give up too soon or never start at all bc we feel like it’s just too hard....& that’s b.s. 👉👉Would love to hear from you @ thesaleslife1@gmail.com & please share today’s show with one person who could use it. #225 Make “Be” your side hustle

We were all asked the same question... hell we probably had to do a report in 2nd grade, “What do you want to Be when you grow up?” We said we wanted to be an athlete, teacher, doctor, lawyer, car salesman (😳)...what’s crazy is no one corrected us. Those titles are what we wanted to “Do” not “Be,” so we do...do...do that’s all it seems to amount to week in & out is a mountain of Do, but what about your Be? It’s in there, your Be is that pull & when Do & Be align, watch out!. 👉👉Thanks so much for...

#224 A Tale Of Two Wes’

Wes Moore....they both had the same name; they grew up only blocks apart from one another, yet one became a Rhodes Scholar, decorated veteran, & even served in the White House...while the other is serving a life sentence for murder. Successful Wes said his life could’ve easily been the other Wes’ life...so what was the difference if they both grew up in the same environment? Today’s episode shows the razor thin, delicate line we walk in Life. No matter what, be thankful today. 👉👉Please share tod...

#223 You’re the wabi sabi

The Japanese word wabi sabi means that although an object’s shape is not perfectly round & the finish is weathered and distinguished- even thought its imperfect, there’s beauty in the imperfection. The reality of wabi sabi is that nothing lasts; nothing’s finished; & nothing’s perfect. Hmm 🤔 I wonder who fits that reality? 👉👉Thanks for catching today’s show. #222 Kick the ball the same

As a young man, Josh Altman’s kicking coach told him that no matter the score...no matter what’s on the line, kick the ball the same. You can’t control the crowd & all of the externals that surround it, but you can control your focus & effort. It’s a lesson he’s taken with him to become a million dollar realtor & tv personality ...no matter the circumstances or client, he always “kicks the ball the same.” 👉👉Thank you for rating the show; if you haven’t yet, would you leave a rating (& review) & ...

#221 Fight the cause not the cure

As much as 97% of funding for illnesses & diseases are allocated toward finding a cure leaving only 3% to discover what’s causing it in the first place. Many times in our lives we use the same percentages; we spend most of our thoughts& efforts on curing our situation, but spend very little on what’s causing it in the first place. 👉👉Thanks for catching today's show. #219 Don’t take it personal

We’re taught early on in sales to not “take it personal...” when a customer burns off on you, gets upset and loses it on you, or when the boss embarrasses you in front of others...don’t even take it personal when your kids want nothing to do with you...”they’ll come around.” But HTH are you supposed to take something when it personally/professionally hurts? 👉👉Thanks for supporting the show. #218 Coach the Smalls

We read that doing (or not doing) certain things can be detrimental to our health yet we don’t stop (nor start) bc that detriment is “someday.” We think that we’ll have time to make the correction , but today, we’ll just keep on keeping on. No matter what’s said or shown, we won’t change until we’re ready to change. It’s the same thing for employees/children/others, you see their vast potential of what they could be or do yet they don’t and it frustrates the hell out of you. Here’s how you can c...

#216 5 Ways to work 1/2 days

Growing up, JT McCormick & his mom barely got by, constantly moving & barely eating. As he got older,,not only did he have to fight poverty, he also had to fight racism too. (He’s biracial) To fight it, he did the only thing he knew to do to keep anyone or any circumstance from holding him down...he outworked everyone and began to successfully climb out & up. As he began to catch some momentum, he ran into a very successful man who gave him the secret to his massive success...”I only work 1/2 da...

#212 "How Long?!"

At the age of 36 Dr. Paul Kalanithi was a successful neurosurgeon. He worked with those who were terminally ill & they all asked the same question..."How long?!" Paul questioned, when facing such dire circumstances, what made Life worth living? He soon experienced his own answer...Dying's not the worst thing that could happen...not living while you're here is. 👉👉Thanks for listening. #210 Tell your story

When he speaks audiences, Nick Nanton has an exercise that he has everyone in the room write down their firsts...first car, home, love, kiss,etc...then he has each person compare their firsts w the other person’s firsts sitting right beside them and if the firsts are identical, he’ll pay them $10,000. It never happens bc no two lists...no two firsts...no two people have identical stories. What you do may seem commoditized, but how you do it ain’t...bc you have a story to tell. Now go tell it.👉👉T...

#209 You know you can’t or don’t think you can?

To know you can’t do something is to have first hand experience that you cannot do it...right now. But to know you can’t is not necessarily permanent, it just means that you lack the necessary skills to hit the mark immediately..to know causes you to raise your game up..to increase your intensity..to sharpen your focus to go at it again. But that’s to “know”...how many times have we backed down in Life simply bc we didn’t think we can? We never knew firsthand...we never failed to gauge where we ...

#208 What are you talking about?

It’s said that life or death comes from the power of the tongue...when you start something new, you’re super-enthused and can’t wait to tell everyone about your new initiative, but once the newness wears off...the shine tarnishes, your speaking falls off ...and so does your success. 👉👉Thanks for catching today’s show; for feedback or show suggestions hit me up @ thesaleslife1@gmail.com Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/marshbuice/message

#207 You don’t need a blueprint you need a plan

We’re quick to use THE one...someone’s blueprint that they used to lose weight, sell or save more, invest wiser, or just got stanky rich...we use what worked best for them, but it may not be best for you. Often when their blueprint doesn’t work for us, we give up, discouraged. Success in any field isn’t a one size fits all & blueprints are configured to exacting standards and measurements AFTER all of the kinks and reworks have been smoothed out. You’ll get your blueprint, but first you need a p...
