Day 3 of the 7-Day Reset: Fitness (Redefined).

This episode is part of my 7-Day Reset built using my 3x5 Method, a practical framework designed to help you navigate life with clarity, consistency, and integrity.

The 3x5 Method uses five life skills: Communication, Curiosity, Creativity, Continuous Learning, and Productive Confrontation.

These skills help you handle three universal problems: Adversity, Uncertainty, and Complacency.

And they are applied across five core areas of life: Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances, and Fulfillment.

Today’s focus is on fitness, but not just physical fitness.

This episode is about mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical fitness, and why fitness is really about capacity, not intensity.

I share honestly about a struggle I’ve been working through myself, trying to “get back” to my physical fitness from 2022 without fully accounting for the reality that life moves in seasons. Different seasons bring different responsibilities, obligations, and emotional burdens.

When you try to force an old standard into a new season, you don’t get disciplined. You get frustrated, erratic, and discouraged.

In this episode, I talk about why fitness is the tip of the spear, but not just physical, how nervous system regulation is the foundation of real fitness, the difference between intensity and capacity, why consistency matters more than extremes in midlife, and how fitness connects directly to faith, family, and leadership.

This episode is for disciplined men who are still showing up but feel frustrated that they’re not who they used to be.

Fitness isn’t about going backward. It’s about building yourself for the season you’re in now.
