3 Ways to Be More Persistent (Willpower, Mindset & Passion) | EP 1029

How many times have you started something, gotten frustrated, and walked away? What if you'd stuck with it? Where would you be today?

In Episode 1029 of "What's Your Problem?" I'm breaking down three ways to become more persistent, inspired by Steven Kotler's book "The Art of Impossible"

Here's what I want you to take away:

1. WILLPOWER — Do the hard things first.
Willpower isn't unlimited. Think of it like sand in an hourglass. Use it wisely by tackling your hardest task first, then the next hardest before you take a break.

2. MINDSET — Chase your curiosity.
A growth mindset isn't just about positive thinking. It's about staying curious, recognizing your strengths, and discovering the invisible skills you already have but often overlook.

3. PASSION — Keep coming back.
Passion isn't excitement that lasts forever. To me, passion is intense curiosity applied to something for a very long time. Even when you're frustrated, you remain curious enough to get back up and try again.

Here's the thing: You don't have to wait for your circumstances to change to become more persistent. These are psychological traits that you can begin developing today.

Whether you're in sales, building a business, working on your fitness, or simply trying to become a better version of yourself, this episode is for you.

My question to you: What's one area of your life where you need to be more persistent?

Drop it in the comments. I'd love to hear from you.
