749. NO Days Off! Doesn't Mean

I take a day off from work, but I won't take a day off from my daily discipline. Why stop and have to start over again?

Momentum is too hard to get going, so once I get it going, this is how I keep it going.

And remember, the greatest sale that you will ever make is the sale You on. You stay amazing. Stay in the cell's life. Let's get it. No days off. Doesn't mean no days off from work. It means I don't have any days off from the daily disciplines. See, even on the days that I'm off from work, I still hit my daily disciplines. I have five of them that I have to hit every single day, and it's working out, it's learning, it's writing, it's sharing what I've. and then it's also planning. And it's planning what I'm going to eat. These are five daily disciplines that are non-negotiables for me. So even on the days that I have off, I still wake up. At the same time, I still get to the gym At the same time, I still write, I still learn, I still share, and I still plan for what I'm gonna eat, and I do these things for a couple of reasons. Number one, I don't wanna break the chain of momentum. I don't wanna break the flow simply because it's a weekend or it's a day off. So I just prefer to keep things simple and I just keep the momentum flowing by hitting these five things. And because I get up super. , I'm able to get all of these things taken care of so that way I can enjoy my off day better because it's already done, and I can be more present with my loved ones. See, here's what happens. I know my tendencies, and I know that if I sleep in that I'm already waking up behind the eight ball. I'm already waking up in a deficit, because I woke up late, now I'm rushing off to the. . When I get to the gym now, it's super packed and I don't get a good workout in because I have to wait for certain machines and because I have no patience, I'm not waiting for a machine. I'll just either skip the exercise or do something else that does not bring the full benefit. And then I noticed the time. So then I get home. Well, when I get home, now everybody's starting to move around. Everybody's awake. If there were things that my wife or my daughter had planned for me, now I don't get to the writing. I don't get to share any content. I didn't learn. All of these things are now off track. So then I'm caught at a crossroads between two. either A, I go do what they want me to do or help out around the house. But I'm big lipping it because I know there were things I should have taken care of already, and I should not have slept in that extra hour or 30 minutes. I should have just got it done, but I chose not to do so. Now this is what's going on in my head. I'm stressed out. I'm not fully present or I have to cut my time short with them so that way I can get back to the things that I skipped, that I should have done earlier. So I just prefer to keep it simple or maybe I don't even get to 'em at all. So then on day two, I'm back up early, but now not only do I have day two's task I gotta take care of, but now I have day one task that's already ringing in my head. now I'm trying to do double the work, double everything that I didn't get around to doing yesterday. But then as life would have it, something happens. Either the dogs have to go to the vet, maybe somebody's not feeling well, and I gotta run 'em to urgent. Or maybe I forget, I've gotta go in early for a meeting or someone calls in either way. My day two is off track. My stress level increases even more because I was trying to take care of day one and day. and now I don't even get to take care of day two, fully, much less. Day one is alienated. Now I got day three and day three. I'm trying to overcome two days worth, I go into work and I'm all pissed off. I don't know what I'm gonna walk into. But see, I'm putting out that, that negative energy and that's exactly what I'm gonna get back. Something else is gonna come up and that's gonna derail my day as well. This is when you get into those, I can't win for losing kind of situ. So, dude, I prefer to just keep things simple. Knock out your daily disciplines and set it up in such a way that it doesn't interfere with everything else that you have planned for that off day. If you get up early enough, you can knock out 3, 4, 5 of your, daily discipl. Get 'em outta the way. That way. , you can still enjoy your days off. Just knock out the daily disciplines. And if you do that, you'll actually enjoy your day off even more because you'll have taken care of yourself. You didn't break the chain of momentum. Now you feel better about yourself. You can be fully present with your loved ones, and when you get back into work, you're not working from a stressed out mindset. Because you took care of everything. Keep it simple. Keep it moving. Never settle. Keep selling. Stay in the sales life.
