If I asked you if you wanted a "Stress-free" Life you'd probably choke on your drink because you couldn't say, "Hell yeaaaa," fast enough. But not so fast says Kelly McGonigal in her book, "The Upside of Stress...Why stress if good for you and how to get good at it." Think about your many experiences in life...purpose, meaning, learning, joy, happiness, love, etc...When you think back to those times, were any of those experiences laced with stressful moments?* Today's episode puts a new lens on not only how you look at stress, but also on your relationship with stress. Stress is needed in your life and will actually be beneficial to you...but first you must change how you see and relate to it.* Check out Dr,. McGonigal's book "The Upside of Stress."
