One of my favorite books is by JT McCormick "I got there." A story how he overcame racism and poverty to achieve the American dream. We dove into his book in Episode 216 and today we're back in the book picking up on page 198 where he quit his job & moved back home. He took his mom's work ethic...but he didn't take just her need to survive.
