We were set...the lane & bowling ball were picked...the nicknames were put on the screen (I was “Egg” for Egghead), the crazy colored bowling shoes were laced up...we were ready, except for 1 thing...no bumpers to prevent from my daughter’s ball rolling into the gutter.
