"STOP trying to guess the teacher's passoword." 3 SKILLS to develop your CONFIDENCE

"Don't try to guess the teacher's password," is a phrase that stuck with Joshua Kaufman. On "The Learning Leader Podcast," he told Ryan Hawk that his son's attention span wasn't where he wanted it to be because he hadn't developed the skills of: Focusing, Paying attention, & (my favorite) Figuring it out when you don't know the answer.

Instead of learning, we "try to guess the teacher's password," giving an answer in order to gain social approval.

So it's no wonder, we lack confidence. We haven't done the hard work to seek the answer ON OUR OWN.

Confidence is an investment not an inheritance. Put in the hard work to develop the skills. Be confident in your answer and if it's wrong, you can always assess and make the adjustments.

Today I'll give you some tips to develop the skills in order to increase your confidence.
