791. How Much Has A "Just In Case" Mindset Robbed From You?

3, 2, 1. Let's get it. How much has a just-in-case mindset. Really taken from you. And you think where the just in case mine said that. You're you're setting yourself up just in case. Something doesn't come through things don't work out. If you take the leap of faith. That. You got something in reserve. Just in case. I'm so grateful that I did not have a just-in-case mindset. When I got into sales 25 years ago. Meaning that I kept the other job that I was leaving. Because I quit on a dime. That I quit. That job to get into sales. But I burned the bridge on purpose. Because I knew where I was not eligible for rehire because I knew. That if I kept the other job warm. Just in case things didn't work out for me in sales. The minute things got tough for me. I would revert back to my old job. So I cut the cord. I took the leap of faith. I burned the bridge on purpose. So there was no just in case. And, you know, in writing this, it made me really reflect on my life. And how much. I've allowed. Just in case. And adjust in case mindset. To inhibit other endeavors. And limit my success. C just in case is when you keep a little in reserve. It's when you pinch off just a little bit, just hold back. Just in case. And, you know, when you think back on it, Some of the best experiences. And outcomes have arisen. And, you know, when you look back on it, Some of the best outcomes. Arose. When you had no other options. But to move forward. When there is no, just in case. All you have. Is what you've got. And just in case. Or are abandoning just in case. It doesn't mean that you're, that you're reckless. No. It actually. Recognizes your faith. Faith in yourself, faith in your abilities. Faith that you're going to have. What you need. Just in time. See faith is what handles adversity. Faith is what embraces uncertainty. Faith is what keeps you moving forward. And doesn't allow any room. For complacency. I refuse to retreat. I may get pushed back. I may lose ground. But I refuse to hold back. That's what just in case does. It's holding you back. When you think it's something for an emergency? It's not. It's limiting your success. Case in point. Right before my wife opened her gym. She confessed to me. She said, They would, if this doesn't work. And I told her. What if it does. What's the worst case scenario. At least if you go balls out, if you go all in. There are no regrets. Because if you held back just a little bit, Number one, if you never tried it all. You'd always regret that. Number two. What if you held. Back just a little bit. Just in case. Things didn't work out. And you had to close the gym down. When you walk away from that wondering. What if I would have went all in. What. Could it have been. Just in case hold you back. Just in time. His full forward. It's full speed ahead. I mean, think about. Walmart. And your life as it relates to Walmart, Walmart perfected. The just-in-time inventory. C, unlike their competitor Kmart. Who always seem to be running out of shit. The shelves were always empty. We've got another truck coming next Tuesday. Walmart. Kept their cost down. They improve their efficiencies. And they had the ability to restock the shelves. Just in time. Before the product's ran out. This is how you got to manage your life. This is how you got to manage your creatives. This is how you got to manage your dreams and your ambitions. In the same way that I run my coaching and my podcast. All in. Full of faith. There is no just-in-case. It's always just in time. You're always. Going. Full speed. Full of faith. You have confidence in the fact. That no matter what it looks like in the moment. No matter how dismal it may seem. No matter when there are no other options. And you've gone too far to turn back. There's nothing in reserve. That's when God will reward you. We're just in time. Just in the Nick of time, just in the 11th hour. You'll have exactly what you need. Just to get to the next point. And was full of faith. And with new found belief. Uh, strengthening of belief of grit, a perseverance of belief in yourself of commitment. You know, That you're going to confront other situations like this. You're going to have other situations like this. It's going to look dismal again. It's going to look bleak again. It's going to get dark. You're going to run out of resources. But I believe it. Then I'll have exactly what I need. Just in time.
